- WORDS 2025 welcomes scientists from all over the world and from diverse backgrounds. This conference promotes international cooperation through intellectual openness and fosters an approach based on solidarity and inclusion. Taking part in this scientific gathering requires the ability to open up to international and intercultural dialogue with tolerance and kindness.
- The organisers of WORDS 2025 are actively committed to combating all forms of discrimination, whether based on ethnic, national or social origin, physical characteristics, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, etc., in accordance with the regulations in force. In accordance with current regulations, discriminatory attitudes, harassment, abuse of a dominant position and acts of retaliation are prohibited. The following behaviour is unacceptable:
- discriminatory jokes;
- personal insults, particularly of a discriminatory nature;
- threats or aggressive behaviour towards another person;
- psychological pressure;
- non-consensual solicitation of emotional or physical intimacy;
- unsolicited physical contact.
- If you think you are a victim or witness of discrimination or harassment, you can contact the person of your choice from the organizing committee. You do not need to specify the exact nature of your request. An initial meeting will be arranged as soon as possible. These people will listen carefully to what you have to say and you can discuss the next steps with them.
- Sexual harassment and bullying are offences punishable by law. The organisers of WORDS 2025 undertake to react firmly to inappropriate behaviour and to report it to the university authorities, who will decide on any legal action to be taken.
